Youth/Middle School Workshop July 15-20, 2012

See Slide Show from Last Year*

We are so excited about next year’s “music camp!”  Mark your calendars for July 15-20.  We will be returning to Florida Southern College for a week of learning about the worship arts and how we can use our God-given gifts in our home churches.   For those of you who have not attended the youth/middle school workshop before, we would like to invite you to join us for a week of music, fellowship, and amazing worship experiences!

We begin each day with worship, choir, and then attend classes of choice including: Sacred Dance, Sign Language, Guitar, Handbell Techniques, Drama, Contemporary Worship Music Leading, Gadget Guru (technology for worship), Faith Sharing, Hand Drumming, Arts and Crafts, and Basic Conducting Skills.  The youth attend daily choir rehearsals, conducted by a first rate choral clinician, where they prepare music for our final concert at the end of the week.  Every night we have Vespers, a contemporary worship service where the youth participate in worship by leading this service through drama, dance, and music.   We close each day with a fun group activity such as capture the flag, movie night, the “world famous” talent show, a dance, and going off campus for games at a local arcade.

Upon requests from many of our previous campers, we are now offering classes for College Students.  These classes will include advanced choral classes, advanced bells, advanced sacred dance, and worship leading.  You will also get plenty of time for fellowship with other young Christians.

Please encourage the youth and college students of your church to participate in this workshop.  They will gain knowledge and valuable tools to utilize in their home churches and will become more effective worship leaders.  Check this webpage often for updated information, and you can find us on Facebook!!
