First United Methodist Church, Starke, Florida is searching for a Church Pianist/Accompanist.

Pastors can earn one (1) CEU approved by the Florida United Methodist Annual Conference for attending the Fellowship’s one-day Pastor’s Track during their 56th Annual Summer Church Music Conference on the campus of Florida Southern College in Lakeland.  The registration fee is just $50, but pastors can receive a 50% discount if just one adult member of their church matriculates for the week-long church music conference.

To get the 50% discount, just register online.  Register Here  When you choose “Pastor’s Track” as your Registrant Type, the $50 fee will come up, as well as a box labeled “Discount Code.”  Just type halfprice in the box, and you will be able to register for only $25.  Later during the registration process, you will be asked to name the person from your church that is attending.

• 6:00  Hymn Festival led by Dean McIntyre (free Pew Edition of Worship & Song)

Named in honor of Roselyn Langdale and Jean Bennett, two well-know illustrious members and mentors of the Florida Chapter, the Rosie-Jean Scholarship is designed to attract new attendees by covering the workshop registration fee.  Note that the deadline is April 30, 2012.

Information for the Rosie-Jean Scholarship:

1. The application form must be completed and submitted.
2. A letter of recommendation from a current Fellowship member must accompany the application.
3. The applicant must be currently involved in a church worship ministry.
4. If awarded, the applicant agrees to join The Fellowship within 60 days.
5. The signed form and letter of recommendation must be submitted by April 30, 2012 (details for submission are on the application form).
