The location (Lakeland, FL) is closer for Floridians and many South Georgians than Montreat, Lake Junaluska, or Ridgecrest. This means a travel expense savings.

In addition to their own worship times (nightly Vespers), the Youth worship with the Adults every morning. All benefit from intergenerational worship.

Worship takes place in chapels or churches rather than hotel meeting rooms. We all know that we can worship anywhere, but many find it easier to focus in a place normally used for worship.

Workshops take place on a small college campus. Dormitory lodging and dining hall meals are usually less expensive than other venues. Room and board is always offered at cost.

All the adults stay in the same dorm and all eat in the same dining hall. Fellowship and networking are facilitated for the entire group–even the clinicians.

The adults often have optional social excursions at night after the sessions. Fellowship is what sets the Florida Fellowship Workshop apart. Instead of everyone going their separate ways after the sessions, we meet and tell stories, have refreshments, or go out for dessert together.

Do you want to save money, spend time with top-notch youth, have meaningful worship, have opportunities for fellowship with folks like you or the clinicians, and have fun in addition to the expected informative and inspirational sessions? Try the Florida Fellowship Church Music Workshop!

What music opportunities does your church have for youth? Do you find it challenging if not difficult to motivate your youth to sing and participate in worship? Alongside our Adult Workshop each summer, we offer a rare experience for one or 50 of your youth to sing in a Middle School/High School Choir under a first-rate choral clinician in our annual Youth Music Workshop (known by the students as “Music Camp”). We are nonprofit, and we make the workshop experience as economical as we can. We promise a delightful week your students will love. They will beg you to bring them back next year.

The students are well supervised by a phenomenal college-age Youth Team of counselors, who assist the adult leaders and work with your youth 24 hours a day. Middle School students require a chaperone to accompany your group.
