About Us

The Florida Chapter of The Fellowship is a group of musicians, artists, and dancers who are passionate about worship. Although most of us value so-called “traditional worship,” and we all have our personal preferences, we are open to contemporary worship, emerging worship, and other styles of worship that give us opportunities to use our creative gifts to honor and present Jesus Christ. Since this is a United Methodist organization, most of us are United Methodists. If you know much about the United Methodist Church, however, you know that we are a diverse, open-minded group. In fact, our motto is “Open minds, open hearts, open doors.” So, we welcome like-minded artists from any or no denominational background. If you were to join our Fellowship, you would find acceptance and encouragement. Our membership numbers vary from 150 to 200. Our goal is to have 50 adults at our workshop this summer.

The Fellowship consists of accompanists, actors, altar craftsmen, altar guild members, artists, banner makers, choir members, choreographers, conductors, dancers, directors, drummers, guitarists, keyboard players, music committee members, organists, percussionists, pianists, praise team members, preachers, puppeteers, singers, tech people, worship leaders, writers, youth pastors, and more!
